April 10, 2023: Keeping Rural On The Radar: Investing In Small Businesses

Small businesses often lack opportunities, especially in rural communities, to access funding for their small enterprises. This webinar will present insights and strategies for how individuals involved with local investment networks have been able to finance businesses on main street and in rural communities.

We’ll hear from Patrick Law, Economic Program Director at Twispworks, representing the Methow Investment Network in Twisp, Earll Murman, with the Local Investing Opportunities Network (LION) in Jefferson County, Dale Stenning from Local Investment Opportunity Network of NE Seattle (LIONNES), and Monica Seidl, Project Specialist with the Lower Columbia Investment Network in Kelso (LCIN).

Background and context will be provided by Anthony Gromko from the Washington State University Extension, Jacob Ewing from the Association of Washington Cities and Lisa Smith from the Washington State Microenterprise Association (WSMA).
