Providing microloans to very small businesses is a powerful tool for leveraging success as an Entrepreneurial Support Organization! There are often limited options for small businesses to access financing, especially among those businesses that have been historically marginalized or have operated outside of traditional lending institutions.

This virtual workshop will offer information about the SBA, their Microlenders in WA and present information about how to become an SBA Microlender in WA state. Janie Sacco will provide information about the U.S. Small Business Administration’s (SBA) Microloan Program, Karen Campbell of SNAP Financial Access in Spokane WA will present on the operational side of the program and Chaune' Fitzgerald will share about the WA African American Chamber of Commerce in the Tri-Cities as a prospective SBA microlender, why microlending is vital for the businesses she serves and how she is preparing her organization to apply.
