Microenterprise Development Act (RCW 43.330.290)
Provides support for Microenterprise Development organizations and the State Microenterprise Association for capacity building and funding for training and techncial assistance.
Self-Employment Assistance Program (RCW 50.20.250)
Allows individuals receiving unemployment benefits to maintain benefits while pursuing self-employment. Authorizes Employment Security to implement the Self-Employment Assistance Program.
Entrepreneurial Training via WIA (RCW 28C.18.060)
Requires Employment Security and Workforce Development Council's to establish the means and demonstrate the method of providing access to and support for entrepreneurial training for individuals.
