The Credit Building Training presented by Vikki Frank of Credit Builders Alliance is an excellent opportunity for community-based organizations, microenterprise development organizations, and other community lenders to better understand today’s credit economy – specifically with respect to
the underbanked – and learn an asset-based approach to working with credit.
By the end of this workshop, you will learn how to:
- Connect credit building to your work (financial coaching, financial education, housing counseling, IDAs, microenterprise development, workforce development, job training, EITC campaigns, etc.)
- Measure financial outcomes and self-sufficiency with credit reports
- Access credit reports and scores with and for your clients
- Learn to use the Credit Builders Toolkit, an online resource with tools and innovations around asset-based credit building
Hosted by Washington State Microenterprise Association and Credit Builders Alliance. Facility provided by The Bank of America. Funded in part through a cooperative agreement
with the U.S. Small Business Administration. Fax (253-661-0937) or
